The cooler pools are fine. Our pools range from about 30 to 38°C; the NHS guidance for hydrotherapy in pregnancy is 35°C or below, so stay in the cooler pools and ask staff which they are. Avoid the sauna and the infrared beach, and check with your GP or midwife first. More in our guide to spa visits during pregnancy.

The pools are normally between 30 and 38°C, with the cooler pools around 28 to 30°C early in the day as they warm up. The water is salt water at around 40% concentration with added herbs; the herbs used are listed on the plaque before you enter, so read it if you have a plant allergy or very sensitive skin.
